The vehicle registration certificate, your ID card, passport or driving licence and — if available — the previous inspection certificate. For vehicles with an LPG or natural gas system you also need the installation certificate.

Yes. The owner does not have to be present — the person bringing the vehicle just needs the registration certificate and their own ID.

It is not required, but it helps: a clean vehicle — especially underneath and around the number plates — is easier and quicker to inspect. Also try not to leave the boot full.

A passenger car takes 20–25 minutes and a motorcycle about 12 minutes. Because we have two separate inspection lines, motorcycles never wait behind cars.

The systems that affect safety and the environment: brakes, steering, suspension, lights, tyres and wheels, bodywork and chassis, seat belts, wipers, mirrors and horn, plus an exhaust emissions measurement.

We explain in detail what was found and what needs doing. Once it is fixed, you come back for a re-inspection, which costs only €5. You do not pay for the full test again.

Always. All three of our inspectors are mechanical engineers, and after the test they explain in plain language what they saw, what to watch out for and what may need attention soon — even when the vehicle passes.

Passenger cars and motorcycles have their first test 4 years after first registration, then every 2 years. Taxis are tested every year. Use our calculator to see the deadline for your own vehicle.

Yes, and it is a good idea if it suits you. The test can be done up to 3 weeks before the due date without losing any days of validity.

The law adds a surcharge depending on the delay. For passenger cars it is +€16 up to 30 days, +€33 up to 6 months and +€65 after 6 months. For motorcycles and trucks the amounts differ — call us for the exact cost.

For most vehicles the KEK is renewed every year and costs €10. It can be done together with the KTEO test or on its own, whenever it suits you.

Yes, at no extra charge. By arrangement, we collect the vehicle, inspect it and bring it back. It is the service professionals and fleet owners appreciate most.

Cash or card. For professionals and businesses we issue a proper invoice.

Yes. We work with car rental companies, hotels, courier companies, dealerships and tradespeople. We schedule the inspections for all vehicles and handle the invoicing.
